What it actually does

Aircall is still Aircall on aircall.io. Legal name Aircall.io, Inc., a Delaware corporation at 44 West 28th Street, New York. Founded in Paris in 2014 (Aircall SAS). It bought Vogent on May 6, 2026 and Piper AI on June 3, 2026. The live brand did not get renamed.

It is a per-seat cloud phone, SMS inbox, and CRM click-to-dial platform for sales and support teams. HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Pipedrive. That is the product. AI Voice Agent is a named add-on that greets, books, and routes. Public price: 50 free minutes per account per month, then $0.49 a minute PAYG ($0.39 after 2,500), or prepaid $175 for 500 minutes and $725 for 2,500. Leftover blogs still print $0.99 a minute. Stale. Do not use them. Transcription and AI Assist at $9 a license on Essentials are not a receptionist.

Missed-call text-back exists as a webhook, Zapier, or Messaging API recipe. It is not a named priced SKU, so it does not get that tag. No reviews product. No listings. No website chatbot. Jobber logs calls. Housecall Pro, Dentrix, Mindbody, and Clio 404.

Who should buy it

Buy it if you already live in HubSpot, you have at least three seats, and the job is outbound plus a shared SMS inbox, with optional Voice Agent on inbound. That is who G2 and Capterra review: sales and support operators.

Do not buy it if you are a plumber, HVAC shop, salon, one-chair dentist, or solo law firm. OpenPhone is $19 a user with a one-seat floor and Sona on the same line. JustCall is $39 a user monthly cash with a two-seat floor, so $78 before AI. Dialpad is $15 a user and the wrong aisle: UCaaS, empty categories on this directory. Aircall’s closest twin is JustCall, not Dialpad.

The reason not to buy is the three-seat tax, then the paper. Live list August 25, 2026: Essentials $40, Professional $70 per license per month (US/Canada catalog JS). Pricing-page cards default to annually at minus 25 percent, which is $30 / $50 billed annually. JSON-LD publishes those annual figures. Do not put $30 on From. Minimum is three licenses on Essentials and Professional (Custom is 25). A one-line shop pays $120 a month cash before a $6 extra number, SMS overage, or Voice Agent. Help Center Starter AI Plan is one seat and 250 minutes with no public dollar. Custom. Do not invent it. ToS: auto-renew same duration, 30-day written non-renewal, cannot decrease licenses mid-term, pay unused seats, no general refund, New York law, jury waiver. AI Voice Agent marketing says cancel anytime. Seat ToS does not.
