What it actually does
Broadly is Vendasta’s shop-facing brand. Vendasta bought Broadly Inc. on March 17, 2023. The consumer name did not change. Legacy Broadly 1.0 retired April 30, 2026. What you log into now is Broadly Engage: review asks and AI replies, an AI receptionist on phone, SMS, and chat, a named missed-call text-back (call-forward to a Broadly number), website chat, listings, and social. Sold as one AI Workforce package. That is the 2026 product. Concret.io did not buy this company.
It is not NiceJob. NiceJob is a Google drip. It is not Podium’s messaging stack with a proven missed-call file; the independent reviews we opened do not describe the 2026 text-back. Jobber, Housecall Pro, and ServiceTitan are partner pages. Dentrix, Mindbody, and Clio are not on broadly.com. Home services is the ICP. Salon is FAQ copy.
Who should buy it
Buy it only if you want the whole bundle, you run Jobber or Housecall Pro, and the order form says month-to-month with same-day cancel, in writing. Neighborly-style plumbing and HVAC are who they built for. Dental and law exist. Thin.
Do not buy it if you only needed Google reviews. That is NiceJob at $75. Do not buy it because a closer offered $39.99 or a ranking guarantee. Trustpilot 2025 and BBB 2025–2026 are that pitch: trial, then $200 or $420, then billed after a cancel email.
The reason not to buy is the paper. Pricing FAQ, live August 25, 2026: no long-term contract, cancel same day, billing stops this month. Terms still have 12- and 24-month auto-renew, 30-day written notice, and a termination fee equal to the rest of the term. Month-to-month still bills another month if notice is short. Amounts already paid are not refunded. Broadly can change prices anytime. Website FAQ says you own the site they build. Terms: Broadly-created site assets licensed only after 12 paid months. Capterra, May 17, 2025: cancelling for the tenth time, charged again. BBB F. Not accredited. Five complaints in three years, four unanswered.
The verdict
Capterra, GetApp, and Software Advice are 4.8 from 336 (one Gartner pool). Bodies we opened are almost all October 2022 to March 2023 construction, auto, and vet shops who got review volume and liked the inbox. G2 about 4.7 from 74 or 75 (indexed; live HTML blocked). Trustpilot 2.9 from two 2025 reviews. TrustRadius 7.5 from two ratings, empty. Reddit: none retrieved. Those 4.8 stars are a pre-acquisition pool. The 2025–2026 file is cancel and billing.
Official list August 25, 2026: AI Workforce $799 a month. No setup fee on the FAQ. Ads extra, rate unpublished. Aggregator $249, $399, $79 modules are not on the live page. Do not use them. Whether $799 is per location is unpublished.
Skip. The 2022 product could move Google. The 2026 contract does not match the FAQ. If you needed a $75 review drip, NiceJob. If you needed missed-call plus a human inbox, Podium is the other custom quote, with its own 12-month auto-renew. Do not sign a Broadly order that keeps the 12-month default.
